Matching Gifts Support Puget Sound Blood Center

Matching gifts are a powerful way to increase your support of Puget Sound Blood Center!
We depend on financial contributions to help us continue our life-saving research focused on thrombosis, genomics, hemophilia, and transplantation immunology. Right now any gift to the Blood Center from first-time contributors is eligible to be matched at a 50% rate, thanks to the generosity of an anonymous supporter of Puget Sound Blood Center. This means that each dollar that you contribute will be worth a $1.50! This opportunity will expire on June 30, 2012, so please consider making a gift today.

Our partnership with donors, contributors, and volunteers is the foundation of maintaining a strong, not-for-profit, community-based blood supply. People like you have provided support for our valuable work since the Blood Center's inception in 1944.

There is an additional matching gift challenge offered through the generosity of long-time Blood Center donors and volunteers Kerry Chesbro and Joanne Riley in support of a new bloodmobile for the Tukwila area. Kerry and Joanne hope this opportunity will encourage others to join them. For every contribution toward the new Tukwila bloodmobile, Mr. Chesbro and Ms. Riley will match the donation's value. The new vehicle will serve a 60-mile radius around Tukwila, providing blood to thousands of patients annually.

Many companies also match the philanthropic contributions of their employees. Check with your Human Resources office or check www.psbc.org/gifts/matching.htm to see if your employer will match your contribution.

Please help us in our mission to save lives through blood donations and medical research by taking advantage of these opportunities to increase the value of your contribution.
