Lymphocyte Crossmatch

  —	Recipient: 2 7-10cc clot tubes (red top) 30cc ACD (yellow tops)
  —	Living Donor: 1 7-10cc clot tube (red top) 30cc ACD (yellow tops)

Patient serum is crossmatched against donor lymphocytes to detect antibodies against the donor, and against the patient's own lymphocytes to detect autoantibodies. T-cell and B-cell crossmatches are performed using a flow cytometry technique.
T-cell crossmatches may also be performed using an antiglobulin-enhanced complement dependent cytotoxicity technique.

If results are required within 12 hours, the Lymphocyte Crossmatch – STAT transaction code (3088-02) applies instead.
