Faces for Life Gala Dinner and Auction a Great Success
Saturday, March 6 proved to be an inspirational evening as Puget Sound Blood Center celebrated with approximately 300 of its biggest supporters at its Faces for Life Gala dinner and auction.

Faces for Life Bellevue Square Exhibit
Puget Sound Blood Center saves lives every day thanks to the thousands of individuals and organizations who make our work possible. Whether you are a blood donor, volunteer, or financial contributor you have touched the lives of people throughout our region.

You can see for yourself some of these people’s stories at the Faces for Life exhibition. The exhibition will be on display at Bellevue Square Monday, February 22 – Friday, March 05, 2010. The building is open Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. and Sundays 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

12th Annual Swim for Life is a Success!
On August 19, over 250 swimmers and kayakers ventured 2.25 miles across the chilly waters of Lake Washington from Medina Beach to Madison Beach for the 12th Annual Swim for Life benefiting Puget Sound Blood Center.

Swirling skirts and colorful scarves were the trend at the Spring for Life gala in March. Thanks to generous sponsors, guests, and volunteers we raised $200,000 for thrombosis research. And, boy did we have fun doing it!

Hope Uncorked! A Tasteful Event
Puget Sound Blood Center’s inaugural wine tasting, Hope Uncorked!, was a big success. Thanks to the guests, the volunteers, and the generous wineries who donated their wine and their time, the event exceeded expectations and raised more than $17,000 for the Blood Center’s new thrombosis research center.

Diving in to Help – Record Turnout Supports Swim for Life
On Aug. 15, about 150 awakened at dawn,made their way to Medina, jumped into the chilly waters of Lake Washington and thrashed about for as long as it took to reach Madison Park Beach more than two miles away.

Golfers Find airway to Support Blood Center
Last month, 150 golfers gathered on a cold summer morning (well, this is the Northwest!) to play some golf, mingle with old friends and make new ones, and just generally have an enjoyable day.
