Support Grows in Mason and Thurston Counties
Longtime chair of the Mason and Thurston Counties Advisory Council, Richard W. Green, recently welcomed 12 new members to the council, growing its membership to 21 local leaders and individuals. The Mason and Thurston Counties Advisory Council acts as a community sounding board and advocate for Puget Sound Blood Center to increase awareness and support. Karyn Denton Named Director for Northwest Tissue Services
Puget Sound Blood Center has named Karyn Denton Director for Northwest Tissue Services (NWTS), a Blood Center program. Denton joins NWTS most recently from Snoqualmie Valley Hospital where she served as Chief Operating Officer. In a career spanning over 25 years, Denton has served managerial roles in a variety of healthcare settings, including LifeCenter Northwest, a four state organ transplant and donation organization where she held the position of Chief Operating Officer.
