Seattle Honors Partners In Life

In January, Puget Sound Blood Center held its annual Partners in Life breakfast to honor all the donors and volunteers in the Seattle area who ensure the continued stability of Western Washington’s blood supply. Regional Partners in Life recognition events are held throughout the year as well.

During the breakfast, held at Seattle’s Westin Hotel, awards were handed out to recognize outstanding service to the Blood Center. Award recipients included:

  • Volunteer Achievement Award – Theodore Dimitriou, Over 250 blood donations
  • Volunteer Achievement Award – Bob Sarkies, Over 780 hours as a volunteer driver
  • Community Service Award – John Saum, Organized over 53 blood drives, resulting in 2,015 registrations
  • Community Service Award – CAC Real Estate Group, Held 124 blood drives resulting in 8,711 registrations
  • Community Service Award – Maria Arcega-Dunn, Anchor, Q-13 Fox News, Made news coverage of the Blood Center and its programs a priority
