Individuals may sign up to receive electronic notification whenever an alert is issued that their blood type is in short supply. You may choose to receive these notifications on your cellular phone. You must have text messaging on your cell phone to participate.
- When you sign up to participate in the text messaging pilot program, we will send you an electronic notification whenever an alert is issued that your blood type is in short supply. The message will include a phone number you can call to schedule an appointment. We will not send more than one text message per week. Standard text messaging rates apply.
- We respect your privacy. We will never give your personal contact information to anyone. If you would like to be removed from the text messaging pilot program, contact us.
- Participation in the Cell Alert: Text Messaging Pilot Program is not a replacement for the current donation eligibility communications you receive from the Blood Center. Participation in this pilot program is in addition to other phone or e-mail contacts.
